Authorities suspect the vehicle was used during a robbery in Sitio Miranda, Barangay Damilag, on Wednesday, June 17.
“Upon its recovery, investigators and Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) immediately processed the vehicle and collected pieces of evidence for forensic examination to support the ongoing investigation,” Maj. Joann Navarro, PRO-10 spokesperson, said.
She added that through Oplan SHIELD (Synergized Holistic Initiative for Enforcement of Law and Detection), police have identified several persons of interest who are currently undergoing verification.
“Hot pursuit and dragnet operations remain underway as authorities continue to track the suspects and pursue all available leads,” Navarro said. /jpv
