Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen Reveal Baby Girl's Name

Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen are revealing their baby’s name—in capital letters.

Two months after the Sinners actress and the Buffalo Bills quarterback confirmed the arrival of their baby girl in April, Steinfeld shared they named their daughter Harper Haize Allen.

She confirmed the infant's moniker in a June 19 letter to her baby girl, posted to her Beau Society Substack.

"Dearest Harper, I'm in awe of you," Steinfeld began. "You've been here for only a short while now, and somehow it feels as though you've always been ours."

“Before I was a mother, I had never understood this feeling of being so wistful and filled with excitement at the same time," she continued. "I want your baby hair to stay this soft forever, but I long for the day you might ask me to braid it down your back while we're sitting in the grass."

The 29-year-old ended her sweet tribute with a special message for Harper, writing, “Even though I know I am meant to guide you through this life, Harper Haize Allen, the truth is that already, you have taught me far more than I could ever teach you.”

And since welcoming their bundle of joy this past spring, Steinfeld has gotten louder and louder about how much she loves being a mom. In fact, in honor of Mother’s Day, the “Capital Letters” singer revealed the first photos of her infant.

In one photo from the May 12 post, Harper’s tiny little fist—sporting a long-sleeved yellow onesie—wraps around Steinfeld's finger. Another moment reveals the baby’s feet covered by a sweet black and white spotted onesie with red feet.

Alongside the post, Steinfeld wrote, “A day late but simply obsessed with this.”

Before the couple officially revealed their daughter’s name, Steinfeld had teased a nickname for her on her Beau Society newsletter. In a Jan. 2 post shared three months before their baby was born, Steinfeld showed off a knit sweater under the Christmas tree embroidered with the name “Baby Beau.”

And while Steinfeld assured she and Allen were feeling “incredibly grateful and blessed” with the arrival of their daughter, the couple—who wed in May 2025—did not hide their excitement toward becoming parents.

One month before revealing her pregnancy, Steinfeld told Bustle she was “of course” looking forward to starting a family with Allen.

“I literally thank God every day that I found my person, and it’s the greatest thing in the world,” Steinfeld mused. “Life makes sense. Everything makes sense. I feel like I am stepping into the version that I’ve always dreamed of being, having so much to do with being with him.”

For Steinfeld, life couldn’t have unfolded any other way.

“Where I’m at professionally, mentally, emotionally,” she noted, “if this part had come into my life any sooner, I wouldn’t have been able to take it on.”

Meanwhile, Allen couldn’t be more thrilled about his new role as a dad.

“It definitely changes [your] mindset a little bit,” he said during an April 20 press conference. “I'm very excited. I do think this is going to be the best version of myself in all aspects—in my professional career and my personal life. It's such a blessing.”
