‘Dutton Ranch’ Episode 7: [SPOILER] Gets Murdered, [SPOILER] Might Die and Everyone Else Is Either Drunk or in a Bar Brawl
SPOILER ALERT: This post contains spoilers from the seventh episode of “Dutton Ranch,” “Den of Sin,” which is now streaming on Paramount+.
Yee-haw! Welcome to another week of “Dutton Ranch,” where after last week’s festivities we’re all dressed up for a fancy party at the 10 Petal. Beulah (Annette Bening) has spared no expense, but can everyone get along without fighting? Of course not! Without further ado, let’s jump into this week’s episode, which begins with a decades-old flashback.
Ooh, Fort Worth in August 1981 … ready to see a young Beulah (Rebeca Robles) take charge!
Noticed a sign in the background for “Bikini Bull Riding.” Sounds dangerous!
Hi, Mariano (Bobby Soto)! Are you Joaquin’s father?
Good Eddie Rabbitt track! More vintage country on this show, please!
This bar looks like such a fun time! And not a cell phone to be found…
A romantic dance scene with Luke (Cameron Cowperthwaite) set to Waylon Jennings? Hell yeah!
C’mon, Mariano! Flirt with this bartender (Andi Matichak)!
Beulah’s assault happened so quickly! The men of 1981 Fort Worth can’t be trusted for a moment.
Back to modern day … Beulah’s power outfit is so cool!
A bunch of cowboys with an open tab? Can’t imagine any trouble will come their way!
The wait staff looks like they’re all ready to spit in Beulah’s food.
Oh, no — Rob-Will (Jai Courtney) is totally going to crash this fancy party, isn’t he?
Rip (Cole Hauser) in formal wear? Thought I’d never see the day!
Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Rip guzzling booze and beer on their horses … Should they go to rehab, too?
Did we know Joaquin (Juan Pablo Raba) was taking over for Beulah? Even if so, the timeline seems so quick!
Ugh, Oreana (Natalie Alyn Lind) flirting so brazenly in front of Carter (Finn Little) is 100% going to start a fight at this nice event.
I feel like Josh Stewart, who plays Sheriff Wade, is the quiet MVP of this show. He has a great screen presence, so I hope we get to see more of him.
Whoa, what a tender moment between Beulah and Everett (Ed Harris). Their chemistry is electric!
This bar brawl erupted so quickly! I love it!
Austin (Sterlin English), don’t try to take down the ranch that keeps killing people! Not smart!
Oof, that was a bleak return speech, Rob-Will.
Oreana, your sexual manipulation games are too much for Carter. Remember that he’s supposed to be in high school.
Damn, Beulah took Rob-Will’s threat seriously. What a betrayal!
Ha, Carter, I have to admit that I didn’t see this drunken move coming. What is your plan, bud?!?
Beulah had a heart attack? Damn!
Back to the past … So Rob-Will was a result of Luke’s sexual assault? That is so dark…
Holy shit. She killed Luke in cold blood? Wild!
Until next week, brawlers and boozehounds.
