
The Civil Protection Department has released photos from the rescue operation that followed a paragliding accident at Dingli Cliffs yesterday.
Rescuers from Fire Stations 1, 3, 4, 8 and 11 were dispatched after a paraglider required medical assistance in the area.
Upon arriving at the scene, Civil Protection officers coordinated closely with a medical team from Mater Dei Hospital to provide immediate care to the injured national. The Czech national was then safely transported using a Civil Protection rescue asset to the nearest accessible road, where she was transferred to an ambulance for further treatment..
