Jelly Roll Slams Cheating Rumors Amid Bunnie Xo Divorce

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo don’t need anyone to save them from heartbreak.

Because even though their relationship has evolved, the pair are still feeling so much love for one another. In fact, the “Save Me” singer put any suggestion they have remained anything but friendly since their breakup to rest while giving look at what he’s been up to lately. In a YouTube video titled “The Divorce Vlog,” Jelly Roll took fans behind the scenes of his recent CMA Fest performance as well as life on the road with his and Post Malone’s Big Ass Stadium Tour.

All of this with the promise of delivering “piping hot tea” about their sudden breakup after 10 years of marriage. But when the moment of truth came, he enlisted “mama bear” Bunnie, who joined in over the phone, to point the curious fans to her Dumb Blonde podcast for the full scoop.

“Yeah, ya’ll thought we were gonna hate each other,” Jelly Roll said to the camera, adding as Bunnie laughed, “Plot twist b--ches.”

And proving their bond remains as strong as ever, he then said to his estranged wife, “Love you, baby,” to which she responded, “Love you, bye.”

Though Jelly Roll (real name Jason DeFord) filed for divorce from Bunnie (real name Alisa DeFord) on May 18—citing May 9 as their separation, according to docs obtained by E! News—their breakup didn’t come to light until nearly a month later on June 15.

For her part, on her Dumb Blonde podcast, Bunnie admitted to being “so relieved that the f--king news is out, 'cause holy s--t."

And as promised in the call with Jelly Roll, her June 18 podcast episode dove deep into their dynamic, including realizing their relationship wasn’t working.

"We just weren't on the same page,” she admitted, detailing more than a year of struggles before the Mother’s Day fight that led to her leaving. “I stopped chasing him.”

Although, as she noted, while she told him to “file the papers,” she hadn’t intended to spark the dissolution of their marriage. However, after spending some time coming to terms with his decision, she stressed they are “ending this marriage on the best possible terms.”

That said, as they turned a new chapter together, some aspects from their time together—including a quest to have a baby together—remain in place.

"That's my f--king best friend, dude," Bunnie emphasized. “Like, I love him. And you guys are going to be shocked to hear this, but we're still having a baby. We have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered.”

As for Jelly Roll, beyond his cheeky divorce video, he emphasized during a concert that there was no infidelity involved in his and Bunnie’s breakup, and celebrated the next phase of their life together.

"Bunnie, I love you, baby,” he said while on stage. “Thank you for those 10 years. They were incredible. Thank you for the next 10 years of friendship and 20 beyond that."
