
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Provincial Government offers free entry tickets to all city-managed tourist attractions and public transportation on June 22, 27, and 28, 2026, for both Jakarta residents and those from outside Jakarta.
Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said the free tourist entry covers not only Ancol but also the Ragunan Zoo, as well as museums and public transportation managed by the provincial government, such as MRT Jakarta, Transjakarta, and LRT Jakarta.
“After receiving input from many parties, most of whom are from outside Jakarta who want to use it, the free tourist attractions and public transportation will not only apply to Jakarta ID card holders but also to all Republic of Indonesia ID card holders,” Anung said here on Sunday.
In addition to Ancol and Ragunan Zoo, other tourist attractions managed by the Jakarta Provincial Government include the National Monument (Monas), the Jakarta Historical Museum, Museum Taman Prasasti, Museum M.H. Thamrin, and Museum Joang ’45.
Then there are Museum of Fine Arts and Ceramics, Museum Wayang, Museum of Textiles, Museum Bahari, Museum Betawi, Rumah Si Pitung, and Taman Benyamin Sueb Park. Meanwhile, Ragunan Zoo management, in commemoration of the 499th anniversary of Jakarta, is holding an interactive quiz with prizes that visitors can participate in during the anniversary celebration period.
In addition, the Ragunan Night Zoo service is also scheduled to open on the night of the 499th Jakarta anniversary.
On the other hand, Ancol management is providing free entry to the Taman Impian area, including the beach area, on June 22, 27, and 28, 2026, from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. local time.
