
BINI delighted their fans during the “Signals World Tour” kickoff as the P-pop supergroup gave a preview as well as a peek into the choreography of “A Parallel World,” their upcoming track for DreamWorks Animation film “Forgotten Island.”
The eight-member group performed a part of the song on Saturday, June 20, as seen in a clip shared by Universal Pictures Philippines on its Instagram page.
“You and I, we still together/ ‘Til the end, get up together/ Life’s so hard, we cry together/ You and I ride the tide together,” the octet sings, while showing off the track’s choreography.

The soundtrack of the animated film will also feature Lea Salonga, Katseye’s Sophia Laforteza, as well as Filipino-American singer H.E.R. and Liza Soberano who are the voices behind lead characters Jo and Raissa. Salonga is also part of the voice cast ensemble, along with Dolly de Leon, Manny Jacinto, Dave Franco, Jenny Slate, and Jo Koy.

“Forgotten Island,” directed by Joel Crawford and Filipino-American filmmaker Januel Mercado, follows the story of two best friends who embark on an adventure after discovering a magical portal. The movie is set to premiere on Sept. 23.
Meanwhile, aside from the sneak peek into “A Parallel World,” BINI also performed their Coachella set at their kickoff show held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. /edv
