A bus carrying high school students collided with a car in Wellington on Monday morning, closing a central city intersection.
Police said the intersection of Taranaki Street and State Highway 1/Vivian Street had been blocked. No one was injured in the crash.
The bus numbered 737 was on its way to Wellington College and Wellington High School.
Wellington College associate headmaster Darrell Harvey said workers who are at the school gate each morning reported the students arrived on time after the crash.
As far as Harvey was aware, none of their students had been injured.
"Our students from that bus were on site before the day started," he said.
The crash site has been cleared and the road has reopened.
