Seized during the 11:55 pm buy-bust operation were 10 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing about 100 grams of suspected shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia, a Yamaha NMAX motorcycle, and the P1,000 marked money.
Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano, PRO-10 director, lauded the joint operating units, framing the arrest as a significant push in the region’s broader campaign against narcotics.
“This successful operation reflects the unwavering commitment of PRO-10 and its partner agencies in combating the proliferation of illegal drugs in our communities,” he said in a statement.
The suspect is currently detained at the Iligan City Police Station 3 pending the filing of formal charges for violation of RA 9165.
The confiscated contraband was turned over to the Iligan City Forensic Unit for qualitative and quantitative examination./coa
