Body found in pond at South Auckland park
A recovery operation is underway in South Auckland after a member of the public discovered what is believed to be a body in water.
The body was found in a secluded pond in Rongomai Park, in Flat Bush.
A report was made to police just after 4pm.
Search and Rescue are at the scene to recover the body.
"Walkway entrances into Rongomai Park have temporarily been cordoned off while police continue our work at the scene," police said.
