Ben Hania, Blumberg, Casetti, Giannoli, To, Sadat join Venice Film Fest jury

Tunisian director and screenwriter

Kaouther Ben Hania, British composer Daniel Blumberg, Italian

university professor Francesco Casetti, French director and

screenwriter Xavier Giannoli, Afghan director and screenwriter

Shahrbanoo Sadat, and Hong Kong director and producer Johnnie

To, along with the previously announced president, Maggie

Gyllenhaal, have completed the International Jury at the 83rd

Venice Film Festival running from September 2 to 12, organisers

said Monday.

The decision was made by the Biennale's Board of Directors,

which endorsed the recommendation of the Festival's Artistic

Director, Alberto Barbera.
