Tribute band brings Queen’s greatest hits to Vale do Lobo this summer

One of Vale do Lobo‘s most popular summer events is coming up next month as Queen Sensation bring an open-air tribute to the legendary British rock band to the resort’s golf course.

The concert will take place on Saturday, July 18 at 8pm as part of Vale do Lobo’s 2026 summer events programme, transforming the scenic Algarve venue into a sunset stage celebrating some of Queen’s biggest hits.

Queen Sensation are widely regarded as one of Europe’s leading Queen tribute acts and feature Serbian singer Ivan Ristanovic in the role of Freddie Mercury. The show recreates the energy and theatricality that made Queen one of the world’s most successful rock bands.

Audiences can expect to hear many of the group’s biggest hits, including Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You and Don’t Stop Me Now.

“This is a musical journey that will have you singing, dancing and reliving the magic of Queen under the Algarve sky,” organisers say.

They add that Queen Sensation have performed internationally since 2006, appearing before audiences across Europe, Asia and South America.

Tickets are priced at €60 and are available online.
