Bruce Willis’ Wife Emma Clarifies Big "Misconception" About His Frontotemporal Dementia Diagnosis
Out of all of Bruce Willis’s characters, his greatest role is as a father.
That’s according to his eldest daughter Rumer Willis, 37, whom he shares with ex Demi Moore. In fact, the Dancing With the Stars alum emphasized that her dad is the “GOAT” in her Father’s Day tribute.
“Happy Father’s Day Daddio from your favorite son,” Rumer wrote in the caption of her June 21 Instagram post, adding a winking emoji. “I love laughing with you. You are the coolest cat in town. I love you so much. I’m so grateful for your joy and silliness and your tenderness. I’ll ride with you any day. To the GOAT.”
Alongside her note, Rumer shared photos of herself with the Sixth Sense star throughout the years.
As for Bruce—who is also dad to Scout, 34, and Tallulah, 32, with Demi as well as Mabel, 14, and Evelyn, 12, with wife Emma Heming Willis—he has been spending a lot of time with his family in recent years since being diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) in 2023.
In fact, Rumer has expressed gratitude over their time together, especially as her own 3-year-old daughter Louetta, whom she shares with ex Derek Richard Thomas, has grown.
“I love getting over to go see him,” she shared on the May 18 episode of The Inside Edit podcast. “I’m so grateful that I have a child that got to meet him because I don’t know if my sisters will have that.”
And the House Bunny actress wasn’t the only member of the Willis family celebrating their patriarch.
Sharing a photo of the Death Becomes Her actor carrying her as a child, Scout wrote in a June 21 Instagram Story, “hug your dad as much as you can.”
