
MANILA, Philippines – Big-time fuel price rollback takes effect this week, bringing relief to motorists after weeks of adjustments driven by global oil market volatility.
Oil companies implemented price slash on gasoline by P4 to P5 per liter, while diesel prices by P8 to P10 per liter, and kerosene by P9 to P11 per liter.
Last week, oil companies implemented mixed price adjustments, with gasoline prices either decreasing by as much as P0.32 per liter or increasing by up to P1.68 per liter, depending on the fuel retailer. Diesel prices were rolled back by P3.71 to P5.71 per liter, while kerosene prices fell by P0.50 to P2.50 per liter.
