Barbie Forteza stirred online buzz after sharing a wedding-themed post on social media, despite being openly vocal about her being single.
In an Instagram carousel uploaded on Monday, June 22, the Kapuso actress was seen wearing a white wedding gown while walking down an aisle adorned with floral arrangements. The post also featured a close-up image of two wedding rings.
“I’ve waited for this for so long. Nobody can ruin my big day,” Forteza wrote in the caption.

In the comments section, fellow celebrities including Mika Salamanca, Kyline Alcantara, Mikee Quintos, and Sassa Gurl congratulated the actress and teased her about her “big day.”
It is not immediately known if the post was connected to an upcoming television project, or film as Forteza did not provide additional details about the photos.

However, the actress has remained single since confirming her split from actor Jak Roberto in January 2025 after nearly eight years together.
She was then briefly linked to actor Jameson Blake after they were spotted holding hands and attending running events together. She later clarified that they were simply good friends and that she is happily single.

Meanwhile, the wedding-themed upload comes amid a busy period for the actress. Last April, Forteza was announced to join forces with megastar Sharon Cuneta in the upcoming series “Honor Thy Mother,” another collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA.
Last month, she also made headlines after she revealed she once walked out of a scheduled guesting after a production staff prioritized another celebrity whom the director was friends with, despite her waiting for hours beyond her call time. /edv
