Watch: Mum Who Cancelled Dream Holiday After Cancer Diagnosis Surprised With Cruise

A touching video shared by The Briefcase Man has left many viewers emotional after revealing a heartwarming surprise for a Maltese mother battling cancer.

The video tells the story of Sharon, a mother of two who was forced to cancel what she described as the holiday of a lifetime after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.

Speaking in the video, Sharon recalled how difficult things had become during her illness, admitting that the pain she was experiencing had left her fearing the worst.

However, after months of treatment, determination and courage, Sharon was given a surprise she never expected.

During the emotional moment, she was told that thanks to donations collected through an SMS fundraising campaign, she would finally be able to go on the cruise she had dreamed of taking.

Looking at an image of the cruise ship, an overwhelmed Sharon responded: “I’ve never been on one.”

But the surprises didn’t stop there.

The video also featured a special message from Maltese singer Fabrizio Faniello, who praised Sharon’s strength throughout her battle.

“Sharon, a mother with a heart of gold and courage capable of inspiring an entire nation,” Faniello said.

He went on to express his support for her as she continues her fight, saying he was convinced she would overcome the challenge ahead.
