The government has started OTT regulation in Nepal, and each entity needs registration to operate. In the near future, OTT platforms could grow and expand with a wider genre of content for Nepali audiences. As more viewers deviate from TV, handheld devices are the future for content consumption, and streaming platforms are going to be the mainstream if they already haven’t.
Therefore, DGo looks set to have a greater future in Nepal’s digital content landscape.
