
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday released a timeline of the Tacloban City school shooting that left three people dead and 20 others injured.
Here are the series of events before, during, and after the school shooting established by authorities during their investigation, as presented by PNP Public Information Office Chief Col. Allen Rae Co during a Palace briefing:

7:30 a.m.

Alias “Nash,” 14, arrived at San Jose National High School and attended the flag-raising ceremony. He then went to the school’s comfort room to wait for alias “Rod,” 15.
Around 8 a.m.
“Rod” joined “Nash” in the comfort room.
Around 9 a.m.

The suspects left the comfort room and roamed around the school premises.
9:20 a.m.

The shooting began.
9:22 a.m.
Police arrived at the school.

9:30 a.m.
“Rod” was subdued by PNP personnel and an intelligence officer from the Tacloban City Police Office.
A .38-caliber revolver containing five live rounds and one spent cartridge was recovered from him.
9:35 a.m.
The area was secured, and the victims were transported to hospitals.
10:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

11 a.m.
“Nash” was taken into custody by a civilian. A bag containing a Glock 17 pistol, a foldable baton, a vest, and a firearm holster was recovered from him.
9 p.m
“Rod” and “Nash” were brought to Tacloban City Hospital for medical examination.
11 p.m.
The suspects were turned over to the City Social Welfare and Development Office.
Co said authorities are still investigating the motive behind the shooting but noted that the suspects were “heavily influenced” by online content.
“We can only say that in our initial investigation, especially this CICL [Child in Conflict with the Law] alias ‘Nash’ was heavily influenced by online content,” Co said in a mix of Filipino and English.
“We have seen what he has, aside from his own posts of violent videos, we are also looking into other groups or people he is involved with that could have motivated him to do this,” he added.

The PNP also supports lowering the minimum age of criminal responsibility to 12 years old from the current age of 15, according to Co. /jpv
