If you’ve been meaning to donate blood but haven’t found the time, here’s your chance.
The National Blood Transfusion Service has announced that the G’Manga Blood Donation Centre will once again be opening with extended hours for a special donation session next month.
The session will take place on Friday 3rd July, with the centre remaining open until 8pm, giving donors extra time to roll up their sleeves and help save lives.
The initiative is aimed at making blood donation more accessible to people who may struggle to visit during regular opening hours due to work, studies or other commitments.
Health authorities are encouraging the public to spread the word and help ensure Malta’s blood supply remains at healthy levels throughout the busy summer period.
Every donation can make a difference, with a single blood donation potentially helping multiple patients in need.
Those interested in donating are encouraged to visit the G’Manga Blood Donation Centre on 3rd July and do their part to support Malta’s healthcare system.
