
PAGADIAN CITY, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, Philippines — A joint anti-drug operation led by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)–Sulu Provincial Office, backed by various law enforcement, military, and intelligence units, arrested a farmer for selling meth to an undercover agent in Barangay Lianutan of Luuk, Sulu on Sunday morning.
Authorities identified the suspect as alias “Aldin,” 36, of Barangay Lianutan.
Seized from him was one knot-tied transparent plastic sachet containing around 50 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated market value of P340,000.

Also recovered were a tactical vest, magazines loaded with live ammunition, a Garand rifle with a defaced serial number, a caliber .45 Colt pistol with ammunition, a handheld radio, a sling bag, an analog cellular phone, a barangay identification card, and the marked buy-bust money.

Charges was filed against the suspect for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act. /cb
