‘Off Campus’ Star Mika Abdalla & Fiancé Jake Short Break Up
Josh Heuston and Mika Abdalla might be in the yellow, yellow haze.
Less than a month after the Off Campus actress confirmed her split from fiancé Jake Short, she and Heuston stepped out together in Paris, fueling ongoing dating rumors.
In photos that began circulating social media June 22, Heuston and Abdalla display some subtle PDA while shopping at a store in the French capital. In one photo, Josh, sporting a pair of black slacks and a white T-shirt, wraps his arms around the nape of Abdalla’s neck, holding her face close to his.
Another photo sees Abdalla, who sports a red athletic set and fur-lined boots, grasp Heuston’s bicep as he stands with both hands on his hips.
The pair’s outing comes at the same time that Heuston—who portrays Justin Kohl in the Off Campus franchise—shared a behind-the-scenes look at his bond with his costars, including Abdalla, on Instagram. In fact, one photo from Heuston’s June 22 photo dump sees the duo sitting together in a pod on a plane.
Hueston’s post also proves the entire cast has remained close as filming for the show’s second season commenced earlier this month. In another photo, Abdalla—who will be promoted to a starring role as Allie Hayes in season two alongside love interest Dean DiLaurentis, played by Stephen Kalyn—sips on a drink in a pool alongside her on-and-off camera bestie Ella Bright, who portrays Hannah Wells in the series.
And while Heuston nor Abdalla have commented on the speculation of their romance, The Pitt actress previously emphasized how close the cast became while shooting season one of the Elle Kennedy adaptation.

“I cannot get enough of these people,” Abdalla told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published in May. “Truly on this press tour, I cannot imagine if I wasn’t immediately flying to Vancouver with all these people.”
No matter the status of her and Heuston’s romance, Abdalla’s new Off Campus chapter comes with the close of a personal one. Earlier this month, a rep for the actress confirmed she andShort—who met while filming the 2022 film Sex Appeal—had called off their engagement.
The rep added in a statement to Us Weekly, that the former couple “continue to support each other and remain on friendly terms, and kindly ask for privacy and respect.”
