
MANILA, Philippines – Ateneo de Manila University president Fr. Roberto Yap, SJ, and several former ADMU players arrived at the Philippine National Police – Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP CIDG) headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City on Wednesday for the investigation on the death of men’s basketball team players Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili in Dipaculao, Aurora earlier this month.

Yap arrived at the PNP – CIDG office at around 8:30 a.m.

Former players Gian Mamuyac and Tyler Tio arrived at the CIDG minutes before Yap.

None of them gave statements to the media.
The CIDG previously said it was summoning the players and coaches present at the Aurora activity as well as former players and officials of Ateneo and MVP Sports Foundation, which supposedly funds the team.
