“”It appears that Mike Defensor was indeed involved in this matter,” Matibag said, adding that investigators believe the former lawmaker knew about the alleged trafficking operations at the KTV bar.
The INQUIRER has reached out to Defensor regarding this but has yet to respond as of writing.
Defensor previously denied the allegations, claiming it was “politically motivated.”
The bureau had earlier filed charges against the ex-congressman’s wife, Julie Rose Defensor, and their son, Miguel Gabriel Defensor, regarding the incident./dp
