Globacom has offered its subscribers additional features on its “Borrow Me Credit” service, aimed at ensuring subscribers remain connected even when they run low on airtime or data.
The additional features include “Borrow Special Data” and “Borrow Airtime/Data for Others.”
In a statement, the telecom provider said that it has simplified the eligibility requirements for the service, making instant airtime and data support available to millions of active prepaid customers nationwide.
It noted that the initiative is designed to provide immediate assistance whenever customers run out of credit inclusive of a service charge applied.
“The new options enable customers to support friends and family members who may be unable to recharge immediately, further strengthening connectivity within the Glo community,” the statement read.
It said the initiative will help customers stay connected when it matters most, whether for important business calls, urgent online tasks, or keeping in touch with loved ones during emergencies.
According to the statement, to meet different customer needs, the service offers a variety of airtime and data options ranging from as low as N25 to N4,000, giving subscribers the flexibility to choose what best suits their usage requirements.
It noted that customers with stronger usage patterns and higher engagement on the network enjoy access to increased borrowing limits.
“Under the tiered structure, prepaid subscribers who maintain consistent activity on the network can unlock higher airtime and data limits over time, allowing them to enjoy greater flexibility and uninterrupted access to digital services.
“Eligible prepaid customers can access the service by dialing *303# and selecting their preferred airtime or data option,” the statement read.
