
MANILA, Philippines – The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has earmarked an initial P69.1 million for claims from government agencies and LGUs affected by the magnitude 7.8 Mindanao earthquake. In a statement on Wednesday, GSIS said initial reports showed 4,403 affected policies valued at P23.59 billion, with General Santos City accounting for the largest share.
