Alex Eala, Venus Williams begin Bad Homburg Open doubles bid

MANILA, Philippines–Alex Eala continues her campaign in the Bad Homburg Open as she teams up with tennis great Venus Williams in the doubles tournament. Their first match is in the Round of 16 on Wednesday, scheduled no earlier than 10 p.m. (Manila time). They battle Alexandra Osborne and Catherine Harrison. Eala and Williams, who made a full-time return to tennis at age 45, have shared the court before as opponents at the ASB Classic.
