Mitch Richmond takes notice of PH basketball's 'growing' talent

SINGAPORE—NBA legend Mitch Richmond offered some insight into the Philippines’ rise in basketball. During the 2026 NBA Rising Stars Invitational here, Richmond took notice of the Philippines’ growing popularity on the global basketball stage and its “growing” talent. “Those guys are growing,” he said at OCBC Arena on Tuesday. “Those guys are growing at a higher pace [compared to others].
