SEC seeks overhaul of bond offering rules

MANILA, Philippines – The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is proposing an overhaul of debt securities offering rules to ease bond issuances while protecting investors. In a draft memorandum circular released for public comment until July 9, the SEC proposed amendments to the 2015 implementing rules of the Securities Regulation Code.
