
CEBU CITY, Philippines — Dumanjug Mayor Gungun Gica has ordered a ban on cellphones in schools and mandatory student inspections starting June 25. This comes as the municipality moves to prevent a tragedy similar to the deadly school shooting that killed three students in Tacloban City.
