Sheik Abdulhadie Gumander, chair of the group’s steering committee, said the event will commence at 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. along Gov. Gutierrez Avenue, the road leading to the BGC.
Gumander said expected to participate are Moros from Cotabato City, Maguindanao provinces, Special Geographic Area, South Cotabato, North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Lanao del Sur and Lanao del Norte.
“The rally will serve as a peaceful expression of unity and resolve to sustain the peace process and ensure that the CAB is fully honored and implemented,” Gumander said in his letter to Cotabato City Mayor Bruce Matabalao seeking a permit to hold the rally.
In anticipation of traffic congestion along the road leading to the BGC, the Office of Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua directed all employees to report for work earlier than usual to avoid possible delays.
