Medvedev calls international law exception that should be strived for

The Russian Security Council deputy chairman pointed out that throughout its history, humanity has followed a path of wars and conflicts

SAINT-PETERSBURG, June 24. /TASS/. International law is a rare phenomenon in the history of humanity, and it should be strived for, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev told the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum.

Medvedev pointed out that throughout its history, humanity has followed a path of wars and conflicts.

"The existence of international law should be recognized as an exception, but it is an exception that should be strived for," he said.
