Inside Zoey Deutch & Kendrick Sampson's AWKWARD Dance Scene
Zoey Deutch and Jimmy Tatro are still setting up a wedding date.
The Set It Up star addressed speculation that she and the Home Economics actor secretly tied the knot one year after announcing their engagement.
After Deutch shared photos of herself in a strapless white gown as she cuddled up to Tatro—wearing a black suit—on Instagram June 23, the Voicemails for Isabelle actress set the record straight.
“No we’re not married I just keep accidentally dressing like this,” she wrote in the post’s comment section. “My bad.”
In the post’s first photo, Deutch, 31 leans into Tatro, 34, for a kiss as he places both hands around her waist. Meanwhile, in another pic, the Not Okay star looks lovingly at her fiancé as he gives the camera a subtle smile.
And it seems the couple is utterly unbothered by the chatter surrounding their engagement. After all, the last snap pictured Deutch flipping off the camera as she delivered a cheeky smile.
As she captioned the post alongside a white heart emoji, “One year engagementversary. i love my @jimmy.”
Deutch and Tatro announced their engagement last September, three months after the Theater Camp actor popped the question.
As the Everybody Wants Some!! alum captioned the September 2025 post, "Three months engaged to the love of my life.”
After the pair’s announcement, Deutch shares insight into how the couple planned to enter their next chapter on their own terms.
"’Fiancé’ is such a weird word,” Deutch said during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last November. “It just sounds a little pretentious. It's like, 'my fiancé,' so I just sort of say 'Beyoncé.'"

As for how her husband-to-be feels about the name swap, she admitted, “I don’t know how he feels about it, but anyway.”
Deutch also shared a glimpse into how her husband-to-be popped the question, as well as why the milestone didn’t surprise her in the slightest.
"We were on vacation in Corsica, and I had meticulously planned the trip—I moonlight as a travel agent," she jokingly told host Jimmy Fallon. "And we arrived there, and he tried, nonchalantly, to be like, 'Hey, so I planned dinner on Monday.' And I was like, 'So did I. I'm sure you saw on the Google doc.' "
“He knew that I knew,” Deutch continued. “He immediately—I found out later—texted my best friend and was like, 'She didn't ask one question. She didn't ask what restaurant, what type of food, how do you know it's a good restaurant. She knows!’”
