‘Scary Movie’ Helmer Michael Tiddes Signs With WME

EXCLUSIVE: Fresh off Scary Movie crossing the $200M mark globally with the biggest opening in franchise history, filmmaker Michael Tiddes has signed with WME for representation.

Prior to helming the sixth installment, reintroducing the iconic spoof series to a new generation of moviegoers, Tiddes scored back-to-back hits at Netflix with Sextuplets and Naked, other collaborations with Scary Movie‘s Marlon Wayans, which reached No. 1 on the platform.

Tiddes made his feature directorial debut with 2013’s Wayans-led horror comedy A Haunted House, which grossed more than $70 million worldwide against a reported budget of $1.5 million. He continues to be represented by Artists First, Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, and Sechel PR.
