Deacon Phillippe Channels Dad Ryan Phillippe at Elle Premiere With Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon is releasing those endorphins.
Especially when the Legally Blonde star stepped out with boyfriend Oliver Haarmaan for the couple’s first public appearance at the June 23 New York City premiere of her new series Elle, a spinoff about her character Elle Woods.
Of course, the couple kept it pink for the occasion with Witherspoon, 50, donning a bright pink lace dress with oversized puffy sleeves, completing her look with strappy beige sandals. Haarmann, 58, also opted for a pop of color, wearing a pink tie with a navy suit and white dress shirt.
The couple walked hand-in-hand after the Hello Sunshine founder hit the carpet with her and ex-husband Ryan Phillippe’s 22-year-old son Deacon Phillippe. (Witherspoon is also mom to daughter Ava Phillippe, 26, from that previous marriage.)
As for Witherspoon and Haarmann—a founding partner of Searchlight Capital Partners—the duo sparked romance rumors in July 2024 when they were seen grabbing dinner together in New York City.
The Morning Show actress and Haarmann—who is father to two children from a previous marriage—even enjoyed a romantic vacation together, packing on the PDA during a trip to Saint-Tropez in July 2025.
Witherspoon's new romance came not long after she and ex-husband Jim Toth finalized their divorce in August 2023 following 11 years of marriage. The two are parents to 13-year-old son Tennessee Toth, 13.

And since her divorce from Toth, the Big Little Lies actress has been candid about the situation—especially how it differed from her divorce from Phillippe.
“When I was divorced before, the tabloid media got to tell people how I was feeling or how I was processing, and it felt very out of control,” she admitted to Harper’s Bazaar in 2023. “To be able to talk to people directly about what’s going on in my life and just share it in the way that I share great professional experiences or personal experiences, it feels much more authentic to be able to say things in my own voice and not let somebody else control what’s happening.”
“Then, of course, there’s speculation, but I can’t control that,” she added. “All I can do is be my most honest, forthright self and be vulnerable. It’s a vulnerable time for me.”
