Ex-WPP China Exec Sentenced to Life in $176 Million Bribery Case
A former executive of WPP Plc, one of the world’s biggest advertising companies, has been sentenced to life in prison by a Chinese court for taking bribes totaling 1.2 billion yuan ($176 million) with his ex-colleagues, according to people familiar with the matter.
