Appeal issued over missing Auckland teen

Emily who is from the Auckland suburb of Opaheke was reported missing on Wednesday afternoon.

Police believe Emily was in the area near Sylvia Park in the early hours of Thursday.

Officers and Emily's family are concerned for her welfare, and have asked anyone with information to contact police.

She was last seen wearing a red jumper, blue denim three-quarter pants, black sneakers and a grey net bag.

Police ask anyone seeing Emily to ring 111 immediately.
