The Detroit Pistons are trading center/forward Isaiah Stewart to the Memphis Grizzlies for three future second-round picks, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania on Wednesday.
The trade will allow the Pistons to clear Stewart's salary and pick up assets, both of which will better position the team for subsequent moves this offseason.
Meanwhile, the Grizzlies will acquire a 25-year-old as another rugged frontcourt piece, one day after selecting Duke forward Cameron Boozer with the No. 3 pick in the NBA draft.
