Man tagged in illegal drug trade killed in Cavite

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – A man allegedly involved in illegal drug activities was shot dead by an unidentified gunman in General Trias City, Cavite, on Wednesday afternoon.

In a report, the Police Regional Office 4A identified the victim only by his alias “Jomarie,” 32, who was fatally shot in Barangay San Francisco at around 3:22 p.m.

Police did not release further details about the incident, except that it was reported to the local police station by barangay watchmen.

Initial investigation showed that the victim was allegedly involved in the illegal drug trade.
