Nationalist Party MPs Adrian Delia and Darren Carabott have publicly brushed aside a ONE News report claiming tensions are brewing within the PN over senior shadow cabinet roles.
The report alleged disagreements involving Delia, Carabott and other Nationalist Party figures over key Opposition positions.
Delia was quick to reject the claims, sharing the article on social media with a blunt caption: “FAKE NEWS. Take a break ONE.com.mt.”
Carabott then joined in with a tongue-in-cheek reply, joking with his colleague: “How much do you weigh? We might be in different weight classes and they won’t allow it,” adding a series of boxing emojis.
The light-hearted exchange appeared to mock the suggestion that the two MPs were on a collision course, instead portraying the alleged disagreement as little more than speculation.
Neither Delia nor Carabott directly addressed the specific claims made in the report, but both used humour to dismiss the narrative of internal infighting within the Opposition.
