Sheriff punched by Sara in 2011 listed as impeachment trial witness

MANILA, Philippines — A court sheriff whom Vice President Sara Duterte punched during a 2011 demolition in Davao City is now on the House prosecution’s witness list for her impeachment trial. According to the prosecution’s pretrial brief shared with reporters on Thursday, eight witnesses have been lined up to back claims that Duterte made grave threats against the president.
