Brazilian music icon Ivan Lins will perform an exclusive Algarve concert on July 11 as part of his international “Ivan Lins – 80 Years” tour, celebrating his 80th birthday and more than five decades as one of Brazil’s most acclaimed singer-songwriters.
The performance will take place in the gardens of the Wine & Books by the Sea Algarve Resort, in Albufeira, beginning at 9.30pm, and forms part of the resort’s cultural programme, which combines live entertainment with fine dining and hospitality in a beachfront setting.
Under the artistic direction of Claudio Lins, the concert will showcase some of the composer’s best-known songs, including Madalena, Vitoriosa and Começar de Novo. Throughout his career, Ivan Lins has become one of the leading figures in Brazilian popular music, with his work recorded and performed by artists around the world.
Guests attending the event must book one of two dinner experiences before the performance.
Coco’s Restaurant will serve a three-course Mediterranean menu accompanied by a selection of wines, priced at €70 per person, while Primadonna Restaurant will offer a three-course Italian-inspired menu with wines for €60 per person. Dinner service will run between 7.30pm and 9pm.
Attendance at the concert is exclusively available to guests with a dinner reservation.
The resort says the event reflects its commitment to offering exclusive cultural experiences that combine music, gastronomy and luxury hospitality.
