
PH, Denmark cast wider net for sustainable fishing
MANILA, Philippines – The Philippines and Denmark have launched a pilot project to modernize the country’s offshore fishing industry through science-based fisheries management and sustainable harvesting. Under the partnership, the two countries will test Danish pelagic midwater trawl systems and related fisheries technologies in Philippine waters.
