The Supreme Court will hand down opinions Thursday as suspense builds before its summer recess, with a dozen high-profile cases awaiting decisions.

President Trump will meet with House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) on Thursday afternoon at the White House as they try to plot a path forward on a third budget reconciliation bill and the SAVE America Act. Johnson (R-La.) faces an uphill battle with both.

The huddle follows a tense visit to the Senate and a canceled housing bill signing on Wednesday.

On Capitol Hill, Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin will testify before the House.
