'Quezon,' 'Kontrabida Academy' lead nominations at 9th Eddys

Controversial biopic “Quezon” and the campy “Kontrabida Academy are the two films with the most number of nominations at this year’s Entertainment Editors’ Choice Awards, or The Eddys. The Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd) officially kicks off the film awards season with the unveiling of the nominees for its 9th edition, and which will culminate to a grand awards night on July 5 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Newport World Resorts in Pasay City.
