Though we live in a digital world, some of our audio devices are still analog at heart. A plane's infotainment system, your car's older stereo, a turntable, or certain gym equipment rely on a 3.5mm jack, an analog method for transmitting audio. As more headphones and smartphones omit the 3.5mm jack in favor of the USB-C port for wired audio, gadgets like the AirFly Pro 2 become more relevant for bridging the gap.
If you're a frequent flyer like me, the AirFly Pro 2 comes in handy for watching movies or TV shows on an airplane's in-flight entertainment system. Instead of relying on the airline's less-than-ideal wired headphones, you can wirelessly connect your favorite pair to the AirFly Pro 2 and engage all of your headphones' wireless features.
The AirFly Pro 2 promises 25 hours of uninterrupted playtime, supports simultaneous connection to two receiver devices, and supports higher-quality AptX codecs for improved wireless audio quality on compatible devices.
While serving as a handy transmitter for analog devices to digital ones, such as headphones, the AirFly Pro 2 also doubles as a Bluetooth receiver. In receiver mode, you can plug the AirFly Pro 2 into an analog source, such as a car stereo, pair it with your phone, and stream audio through the source.
Review: AirFly Pro 2
Though the AirFly Pro 2 has several use cases, "fly" isn't in the product name for no reason. I've used this device in my dad's older truck's stereo system and my gym's treadmill, but found the most use for it on a plane. On a full charge, the AirFly Pro 2 can keep you going for several movies on a cross-country or international flight, and it's tiny enough to fit in your pocket if your personal bag is too full.
How I rated this deal
I give this deal a 4/5 for its discounted price and high level of utility. Though 21% off may not be the deepest discount possible, this product is so practical and useful that I would (and have) purchased it at full price. Therefore, if you can imagine its utility in your life, don't pass on it.
This year's Amazon Prime Day sale begins on Tuesday, June 23, and ends on Friday, June 26, 2026.
