Train stuck in Milan for 3 hours with 200 passengers without air conditioning

Passengers given water, later transferred to another train

A regional train with 200 passengers

on board, including several children, was stuck for

approximately three hours without air conditioning on the tracks

between Lambrate station and Milan Central Station Thursday amid

Italy's broiling heatwave.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene to check the condition

of the passengers, while local police and firefighters verified

the safety of the train.

Trenord staff assisted the passengers by providing bottles of

water.

They were subsequently transferred to another train.
