
Families of those killed during Kenya’s 2024 anti-government protests returned to parliament two years on, to remember their loved ones and demand justice.
With central Nairobi under heavy security, parents and activists laid flowers on police barricades outside parliament, saying they are still waiting for accountability for those who died.
Despite road closures and a large police deployment, small groups of protesters gathered across the city and several people were arrested.
