
MANILA, Philippines – Semiconductor shipments, one of the Philippines’ biggest exports, are facing significant delays due to congestion and warehousing issues at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia). Cargo clearance at Naia fell sharply, with 76 percent of shipments cleared within three days from 95 percent in 2025, leaving nearly a quarter delayed, according to Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) president Ferdinand Ferrer.
