Tricycle driver killed in Quezon road mishap

LUCENA CITY, QUEZON, Philippines — A tricycle driver was killed in a vehicular accident in San Antonio town in Quezon province on Wednesday night, police said.

A report from Quezon Police Provincial Office said a tricycle being driven by “Tonio,” 57, collided head-on with an oncoming Mitsubishi Expander driven by “Teo,” 42, along the provincial road in Barangay Loob around 11:30 p.m.

Tonio sustained grave injuries and was rushed to a hospital in Padre Garcia, Batangas but was declared dead on arrival. Teo also suffered injuries.
