At least 18 drones flying toward Moscow destroyed on Thursday night — mayor

First responders are working at the site where the debris fell

MOSCOW, June 26. /TASS/. The Russian Defense Ministry’s air defenses downed at least 18 drones targeting Moscow on Thursday night, the mayor of the Russian capital, Sergey Sobyanin, wrote on Max channel.

"Another five drones flying toward Moscow have been destroyed by the Defense Ministry’s air defense system. First responders are working at the site where the debris fell," Sobyanin added.

Earlier, the mayor said 13 drones flying toward Moscow were shot down.
